In this work I looked more into detail of the surface processes on the ice sheet itself. I developed several equations for different processes and coded everything in Mathematica. Again with a nice GUI for all the model parameters and the data visualisation.
I used methods of data science and machine learning to find the optimal parameter configurations.
By the way the large header image shows sand from the Japanese temple Ginkaku-ji. The dirt on the ice surface of Greenland is not that neatly arranged.
